The Warm Up Clinical Cases from the Clinical Mind Competition are back! For those interested in competing, this is your chance to prove what you’re made of and test your clinical skills. Not only that, the Warm Up Clinical Cases are also a valuable tool to train your clinical reasoning while exploring different medical specialties and learning about the diseases.
Every Sunday from the 1st to the 22th May we will be releasing a new case at 9:00pm. Each case consists of 4 multiple choice questions that you should try to complete as fast as possible, because in the event of a tie participants will be sorted according to the time it took them to solve the Clinical Case!
At the end of each Clinical Case the top 5 scorers will be announced on our Facebook page.
At the end of the 4th Clinical Case the top 3 overall scorers will be announced! The winners will be able to choose one of the following three prizes:

The Innovate Competition is part of the iMed Conference® 8.0 Lisbon 2016.
Every year, the iMed Conference® encourages young colleagues and scientists to present their work and findings, among a panel of excellence and international recognition. The most innovative and interesting ideas in health and life sciences are awarded, both in basic and translational research.
Can I enrol in this competition?
If you are an undergraduate college or master’s degree student and you are involved in a scientific research project in life sciences and have plenty of innovative ideas, then this competition is for you!
What do I need to send for my application?
In order to participate in this competition, you must read the Rules of Procedure of the Innovate Competition and fill in the application form according to the following requirements:
When can I enrol?
There will only be a single enrolment period in the Innovate Competition. It will take place until the 26th of June.
Who will evaluate my application?
The Competition Jury consists of acknowledged scientists and it will be chaired by a Professor of NMS|FCMNOVA, with recognised research work.
How will my application be evaluated?
There will be 80 vacancies for this edition: 40 for Basic Research and 40 for Translational Research. Evaluation of the submitted projects will be made in accordance with the criteria defined under Annex I. The Innovate Competition application does not guarantee that your project will be selected for oral or poster presentation. Please refer to the Rules of Procedure for further information.
When will I know the results?
The selected projects for oral and poster presentations will be announced on the 10th of August. After the publication of results, the selected participant has 10 days to enrol in the iMed Conference® 8.0 Lisbon 2016 and sign the Term of Responsibility (Annex II). After this deadline, the participant will be excluded from the list of selected candidates.
